Please tell your friends and colleagues about the conference. Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations received up to 01 August 2019 will be charged an administration fee of $20.00 . For cancellations received after 1 August an administration fee of $100.00 will be charged. Refunds will be issued less the applicable administration fee. All outstanding fees are due prior to the conference. Cancellations must be received in writing to info@sandsconfernce.co.nz. Exceptions may be granted for requests received after 1 August 2019 at the discretion of the conference convener.
Children Policy:
Sands is an organisation that truly appreciates the importance of family, however we have two occasions where we ask that babies and children are not included - our support meetings and our conference. This is because we have many newly bereaved parents who attend our conference and the presence of babies and children can be very upsetting for them. We recognise and appreciate that it may be hard for bereaved parents to find carers for their children, and how hard it is to leave babies and children at home when you travel to and from conference. We are not organising any formal childcare for the conference, but if you are interested in talking to other parents about organising some in-house care at the hotel, please let us know and we'll connect you up with others. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
